Bruce Weber and his staff picked up a nice commitment today with Chicago area wing, Mychael Henry who has picked up quite the momentum this past HS season and now on the AAU circuit.
The 6’5 wing had a final three of Illinois, Wisconsin and Georgetown and had taken a visit to Illinois this past weekend and now has pulled the trigger.
Some feel Henry is now the #2 player in the state only behind Wayne Blackshear, quite the praise for a young man who was off the radar just a year ago.
An ESPN story chronicling his rise can be found here
A possible implication of this maybe how much Georgetown turns up its interest on shooting guard, Bishop Daniels and hybrid forward Eric Katenda.
