Seton Hall Arrest

SAYREVILLE — Police said Keon Lawrence, a Seton Hall University basketball player, was intoxicated early Monday when he drove a car the wrong way on the Garden State Parkway here and caused a two-car crash, according to a report in The Record.

The report said New Jersey State Police Sgt. Steven Jones said Lawrence, 22, was operating a vehicle with a suspended license and had two outstanding traffic warrants when he hit a car driven by a 56-year-old Newark man just before 3 a.m. Jones told the newspaper a blood test conducted at the scene found Lawrence’s blood-alcohol level exceeded the legal limit.
